Trial Cancelled
Hello all , Just to inform you all the 12th Jan 2025 Trial has been cancelled due to access roads being deemed to be dangerous. Also temperatures are not set to rise till at least Sunday and the lack of gritting to minor roads.
One of the group has tried today to get up the hill and found it to be just sheet black ice and had to turn sround and retreat.
Sorry about this but feel personal safety must come first .
Please pass message to all others to save a lot of disappointment.
Next trial 9th Feb

A letter in appreciation of the clubs (yours) charity donation from the last trial .
This is the letter (in blue text below) sent to Will Emmott ( land owner at Plattwood Farm ) last Trial venue .
The Family wanted their fee for use of their Land donated to East Cheshire Hospice . So thanks to Will & his Family for allowing us to use it & thanks to our Riders for supporting us at this new to us Venue . With their permission we will be back next year .
“Dear Will
On behalf of everyone at East Cheshire Hospice, I would like to thank you for so generously donating your fee of £215.00 for the Manchester and High Peak Classic Trials Club to use your land; we are so grateful for your support.
The Hospice is a unique place. As well as a 15 bed in-patient unit for those in need of full time specialist palliative care, our busy Sunflower Wellbeing Centre is a day care service providing access to art therapy, complementary therapies, a gym, and above all it is an excellent social environment for adults of all ages.
To continue to provide these services completely free of charge, we need to raise £9362.00 every single day of the year. Our aim is to always put our patients, their families and carers at the centre of everything that we do and it really is thanks to the incredible support of people like you that we are able to provide such a fantastic service for the local community. We really do want to make every day count.
Thank you once again for supporting the Hospice. We really do appreciate your generosity and kindness.”

As you are aware we have had to change the name of our little trials club, this was due to circumstances beyond our control which could have meant the trials being halted.
The good news is that we are now an official club affiliated to the AMCA,
Nothing is planned to change in that the club will be Primarily Pre70 and include twinshocks . No monos or disc brakes.
Over the next few months we will be needing helping hands at a new venue so we can run our first Saturday trial of the season and I will keep you all informed as and when
Thanks to John Drabble, Clem and Stuart, Bill and our small team of helpers whose untiring work has made this possible.
We now have a for sale page please feel free to email any related items for sale and we will happily add them . If there any features you would like to see please let us know .
For 2023 the club is also introducing a 50/50 route explained here
Here is the entry from for our trials please download a complete if you wish to save some time on the day
